Tom Hemingway (b. 1999) is an artist who adopts and subverts traditional drawing techniques to create figurative artwork. Influenced by modern and classical figurative art, he examines conventions of the human form through graphite and charcoal, using bold tonal contrasts to reveal the intricate details of his uncanny figures. Tom’s work captures the complexity of human existence, drawing increasingly from personal life to enrich his exploration of identity and emotion.

Currently, he is an artist in residence at The Sarabande Foundation, London UK.
